I thought I remember reading that with @A. Dickens & @C. Level taking on new roles, that they would still be publishing weekly Matador Reports. Am I wrong? It’s been a few weeks since our last one and with it being in-season football, I feel like they would have some thoughts they would like to share. Just curious if there is one coming. I need to plan my day accordingly.

Nice recognition for the job Joey & his team are doing on the recruiting trail since they’ve started in Lubbock. Tech is listed as 1 of 5 schools that has really picked it up with recruiting. Granted “overachieving” seems a little backhanded, I don’t believe that’s the intent given the 4 we’re grouped with and the blurb about our class.

Bonus: A&M is listed as one of the schools who dropped off from last year. Not a surprise given the NIL rumors for last year’s class.

I imagine everyone has ESPN+ given how our games are often televised, but here are the screenshots if you don’t.

What a great way to kickoff the new era of Texas Tech Football. We had such a great time at the game on Saturday. I am so excited as I believe the future looks bright.

Unfortunately, part of our family will not be able to get back to Lubbock this coming weekend due to our heavy involvement in a South Texas Kairos Prison Ministry. Due to Covid and other State of Texas decisions we are having to basically start from the ground up in rebuilding our Ministry inside the Dilley, TX unit - thus, our first big weekend since the fall of 2019 will be in mid October.
