Yet they were in every game.

This bye week came at the perfect time really. Needed to rest, needed to get healthy. You had the week off while West Virginia was in a slug fest with Baylor. I feel like we are gonna see a revitalized and refocused team Saturday in red and black.

3-3 after that gauntlet is impressive and now they have plenty to play for going forward. I am really liking that 8-4 possibility to cap off McGuire’s first year at the helm. This is a solid team.

Questions sure. Can we generate turnovers, can the O-Line grow more? How much does the QB decision effect both of those things? Can the defense keep popping people in the mouth? Etc.

But with the way this team fights under Joey… I really like our chances of going 5-1 the rest of the way. There’s a belief right now. Something we haven’t had in a long time.

Win all your home games and split 1-1 on the road. Favorable schedule set up.

I am taking my 7 year old to his first Lubbock game against Baylor. Does anyone have 4 club tickets that they would be willing to part with and sell? I know this is a tall ask. I'll buy east side tickets this week if I need to but the amenities and bathroom cleanliness that has us wanting club tickets.

Full disclaimer my wife went to Baylor but she is 100 percent a Texas Tech fan because she gets to be herself and have a blast.

That gets me more fired up than pretty much anything else. Pick up the phone and call. Don't send a passive aggressive email and then dodge my phone call.



Long story short, they ordered a compressor from an OEM which we rep, and the leadtime has been miserable (as if we have any power to change that), and sent an email this morning threatening to pull their PO. Copying my co-worker, who they see as my boss, like I'm the biggest dork in history. Just for the record, most OEM's in the compressor world are quoting 34+ weeks on stuff right now. It's nuts.


I'm tempted to throw a headache fee on this purchase order just because he did that.

The fella that I work with is one of the best humans on planet earth and I've been there for 10 years, he called me immediately to laugh about it.


Hit me with more work pet peeves.

My best friend from high school and his family of 4 are going to go to the game with me on the 29th. As far as I'm concerned, it's a recruiting trip for two 11 year old boys. Does anyone have 5 (or 6) tickets they're looking to offload? It's definitely hard to find 5+ but this site never ceases to amaze. Not looking for freebies or anything, happy to pay.

In case anyone was thinking about buying season tickets to TCU basketball games in order to get a ticket to our game there without getting gouged on secondary sites, I bought 5 in Section 210, Row N, seats 1-5. There’s still a few seats around me in case you wanted to be next to some fellow Red Raiders!

Cody King made 2 holes in one during the Doug Bass tourney this past weekend in Ruidoso. I was about an hour in front of him both times so did not hear any celebration.

Good weather at Rainmaker on Friday for his ace on #15. Terrible weather (mist / rain and sub 50 degrees all day) for his ace on #8 at the Links on Sunday.

EDIT: I would also like to thank our very own Roady for coming through for me in the "horse race". I bet on him the second day in the horse race and he delivered.

With comparisons to Pat it certainly seems Kittley is tipping his hand.

Doesn't matter if we don't take care of business this Saturday. There are great deals and lots of tickets left for this weekend's homecoming game against WVU.

Please try and do everything you can to help get this thing sold out. These guys are playing as hard as any team we've seen in a while. Let's help them build some momentum for this last half of the year run. I have a feeling, if you let this team start winning and building confidence, with how hard they already play...this end of the year stretch could be a lot of fun!

Anybody have a couple tickets for TCU game?

Anyone else think Bama takes loss here? They've always struggled against mobile QBs and they don't have the weapons on offense they normally have and Young is still questionable. Add in that this is the biggest game a Neyland in a really long time and that place is going to be wild.

I get it...hard to get back in the saddle when you have had some time off. But I was anxiously awaiting some quick insight on the game this week and how things are going at the training facility after a week to recuperate.

Tennessee is for real. Wow.

I just moved to Oregon, and I will not be able to make anymore games this year. If you want 2 tickets to the WVU game on the east side of the stadium, send me your name and phone number, and I will send you two tickets.
