Peyton Dyess a MF from Lewisville Hebron has committed to Tech for 2024 class.

Well gents, not to get into too many details, but I am winding down the plumbing/home services company I started a couple years ago, over the next month or so. Customer acquisition costs for residential plumbing were just too high over the past 2 years (screw you baker bros/Benjamin Franklin/milestone) and with the real estate market downturn, our funding source (home flipping) has basically dried up.

If anyone needs a "Swiss-army knife with a motor" kind of guy, let me know. I have experience running a couple small businesses, have an MBA from SMU, have worked in commercial banking and private equity (sourcing deals and as an operator) and am a heck of a salesman. I'm 35 and really just looking for something new that requires some hustle. I'm industry agnostic and bring a lot of experience for my age. I'm in DFW, but could be open to relocating for the right role. I'd be grateful for any leads, suggestions, referrals or advice y'all could give!

I’ve heard it here and at nearly every stadium this year…. It’s not really a “song” maybe? But everyone joins in…. What song is it?

I'm taking by 5 and 2 year old to their first Tech game this weekend. Any tips for game day activities, or activities in general? I know it's homecoming so perhaps there are activities revolving around that. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tech golfers are leading in pool play. Currently with 7 points, after wins over TCU and ISU and a tie with KSU. Final pool play round is going on now with Tech playing UT. Although it shows a tie with TCU currently, they are done with pool play, so it will be Tech or UT out of pool A. Tech needs a tie or win vs UT. UT must beat Tech outright to advance to the championship round. Pool B winner will be OU or OSU (also playing right now). Once these morning rounds finish up, the championship round follows this afternoon.

I just saw that Leno is in LBK tonight, I think I would rather take a tour of his garage but who knows.

I could not be more happy to never see their football team again. Get out and stay out. Sad we have to play them in basketball two more times, so just win those and be done with UT forever.

It's a poor look for that guy in Tech gear to push the football player from behind, so booooo on that. It's much much worse for a male football player from anywhere (in full uniform no less) to push any female. Despicable to put hands on a girl like that. That guy should be making his way to Lubbock with a bouquet of flowers to bend the knee and offer his apologies to her - that would take a shred of honor and self-awareness, two things UT is woefully short on.

UT has always been low rent. I'm sure plenty of you don't remember James Thomas running up and down the court in Lubbock with his horns up on his forehead. Me and Pepperidge Farms remember. Just a bunch of doped up hippies born on third base with regard to the highly immoral PUF distribution (also despicable and indefensible). These people have an air about them that is unsupported by their accomplishments, or lack thereof.

Anyway, glad to see them make like a rug and leave. Hope they fail miserably across all sports in SEC, but I really won't care either way because I'll never watch.

Seth Jones was fairly hyped coming out of HS (pretty sure he was ranked higher, not sure why his profile says 2 star). He chose Baylor over A&M…as with every BU player who transfers, could be something to keep an eye on with the connections here.

Jones started BU’s first 4 games this year and has played 218 snaps so far.
