They say the biggest improvement is Week 1 to Week 2

I hope that's true for Texas Tech and not true for Wazzu.

I don't care how unready Hudson is, he's a 5* D1 wide out at home against an FCS team. He's got to play unless he's really just not ready. If he's not ready now against ACU when is he going to be ready?

You can't tell me Peoples was ready to play and Hudson wasn't. Come on man, something doesn't add up there.

Injuries do matter. Lux needs to get right. Where is my man Joe Adedire? He needs to get right.

I would like to donate to the Matador Club

I would like to donate to the Matador Club, but it's only for one player. The player that hit Maverick on the very last play, he saved the game. Also is there anyone with connections that can get me into the defensive meeting room today. I would like to talk to the secondary coach and ask him....... sir do you value your job at all? Becuase we can call Lyle up and ask him what happens to coach's that allow 500 through the air. Lol I know I'm an asshole just having some morning after fun. But yeah that the the number one position that needs extra practice.

Since we’re an analytics team…

Here are some analytics:
615- The total number of yards ACU had against us tonight. This is the second most a team has put up against us in the McGuire era. OU put up 672 in ‘22.
384- The most passing yards Maverick McIvor had thrown in a college football game until he threw 506 tonight against his P4 FBS opponent.
51- The second most points a team has scored against us in the McGuire era. Only playoff bound UT scored more against us in ‘23.
24- since 2000, the most points an FCS opponent has scored on the future FBS national champion. In 2010, Auburn beat Chattanooga 62-24. Typically FBS champions beat their FCS opponents by 40-50 points in the year they won it all.
52- The second most points Tech’s offense has scored in a game under McGuire. We scored 62 against Murray State in ‘22. Also, an FCS opponent.

Fact check me on these numbers. The very obvious takeaway is that good teams don’t barely beat their FCS opponents.
