Wind out of the west 15-25mph. It won't be as windy as a decade ago when West Virginia came here (Geno Smith game). Record high for the date in Lubbock is 89, last reached in 2020. It'll get close to that mark.

These guys are trying so hard to justify Tech fans buying those ticket packages to take over their stadium. Some are going the “we’re playing 3d chess” route that UT fans attempted. If you’re on Twitter come get some of this. “WE SOLD OUT THREE GAMES IN A ROW” meanwhile their stadium is covered in orange against OkState.

This is my favorite. This joker is in the mentions of a Tech fan selling tickets to KSU fans for their game in Ft Worth and bragging about selling out their stadium and a student attendance record that is beating out their own shitty student attendance. “The jokes write themselves” indeed.

Dykes is an A, though I don't know that these grades are considering long term, rather just this season. TCU was more developed in arguably every position than Tech so I don't think we can start comparing Dykes with McGuire yet:
