We had a chance to catch up with the fourth all-time leading goal scorer in Texas Tech Soccer history, who has one more season left to climb further up that list, Ashleigh Williams. Morning peeps. So I live in Austin but my parents are 80 and still live in Lubbock. Both are in grreat health so thats all good! But we were going over their somewhat organized will and I decided we need to meet with someone to work up the plan once they both pass. There will be some money and assets to divide up between me and my sister. My sister is a complete nut job so I don't want things getting complicated. Once they are both gone I want it in print the exact things that are going to happen - sell their house, divide up assets etc...My parents are on board with meeting someone and my sister won't be involved. I have no problems with 50/50 but also want explicit instructions laid out of what steps we will take.

Anywho - I don't know what kind of person you meet with for this - estate planner/lawyer I don.t know. I would like to get set up with someone in Lubbock and then come to Lubbock in the next few months and my parents and I meet with them and get everything set up.

Anyone got any recs or advice on what direction we need to go? PS - getting old sucks!

Here’s where the rankings get controversial, as the Big 12 will be happy to win out as the No. 3 conference. And it’s not so much that any one team in the league is a world beater, but that every team in the league seems capable of rising to a level of success — and winning the league, as currently constructed.


The likes of Arizona State and Colorado are probably further from contending than Utah or Oklahoma State. But the parity in the league should make for fantastic viewing and it will still take something shocking for the league not to produce a Top 4 team with a bye in the 12-team CFP.

Does anyone use GreenLight’s debit card system with their kids? I have a 10 and 12 year old and was thinking about getting them one of these for use at school, etc. Just wanting to get them exposed to money management and budgeting. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Heard from my booster friend that our returning senior TE Mason Tharp has missed some time and potentially could miss the first game against ACU?

That probably has a lot to do with how poor the running game was during first scrimmage. Hopefully he’s back soon, but good thing we brought in Conyers and Miller too.

We are on grandbaby watch that week and will not be traveling out for the game. I have a parking pass in lot R8 (Math & Science Key) right next to Memorial Circle.
