The Texas high school football season kicks off Thursday. Most schools leverage the subscription-based NFHS network or Texan Live, but a growing number of schools are showing their regular season games on YouTube, Facebook Live and the district sites.
Each week, I'll pick out some freely available games and televised games between
competitive teams. My knowledge mostly surrounds West Texas, DFW and East Texas, but feel free to add other games as long as they're easily accessible.
I expect Week 1 will be a little wonky between these schools not following past precedents and technical difficulties, but these are some competitive games I expect will be available:
