Oddly enough I will be in Denton this weekend for a wedding. Anybody have a recommendation for a place to game watch that I can quietly sneak out of if things go sideways? 🫣
The place is just insanely impressive now. I’ve always been critical of The Jones in the past, it felt small and high schoolish to me even after we built up the west side back in the early 2000’s and then bowled up the north end.
But man we killed it with the SEZ and al the other additions. And walking in front of the FTF after watching it being built on YT for two years was pretty surreal.
Really proud of that place, and I can’t wait to see it at night when we come back for Colorado.

Last night my sister ( Tech '92 ) texted me asking me when did Tech start " guns up ". Told her I wasn't sure but it has been around for as long as I can remember. She said a lady at her work who is a Okie State grad said that they started it first and we copied them. Told her the lady is dead ass wrong. So quick search shows Tech started Guns up in 1961 and OSU in 2001 thanks to the radio play by play guy.
I know this is Germans bombed Pearl Harbour to many on this board but I did not know the specifics. My sister is going into work this morning a little cocky.
I said I hoped my negative posts were bumped and they absolutely should be. Team looks like what I thought they would be to start the year.
Also, I've listened to the entire game on the radio because I was mowing the lawn and now will be listening to all games on the radio for the rest of the season. You're welcome.
Giving credit here where it is due. That was one of the best halves of play calling I've seen at Tech in a long time. It feels like he took every note this board has been complaining about for two straight years and implemented them. I truly don't know why this isn't more the norm. Morton is playing great as well and making some great throws.
Haven't seen a post on this yet. Congrats to Cody Campbell, et al on getting it done in a VERY tight capital environment for most in the oil patch!
