Surely this has been discussed somewhere already so forgive me if I’m redundant but I loved when this went down. Hated that we had to waste a timeout but we all learned Coach Wells does not play. I also love the restraint Coach Patterson showed. He looked like he knew his place and respected Wells.
I’m really encouraged by the game yesterday and feel optimistic. I’m not freaking out quite as bad as most about the officiating because the way I saw it, we should’ve lost at the end of regulation anyway but the BU kid dropped a routine ball in the end zone that he catches 99/100 times. Although I do agree it’s was one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever witnessed.
