Update 8/7: After arguing with 4 separate sales and retention reps, I decided to cancel my Suddenlink internet about 2 weeks ago. I then turned around the next day and signed up for new internet under my wife's name. Was a little bit of a hassle, but now have double the speeds (400 mbps) for $36 cheaper/month ($60 from $96)
I know it will go up again after the first year, but it will still be cheaper than what they were charging me for 200 mbps.
Anybody else get a surprise on their Suddenlink bill this month?
I only have their internet service, and my rate went up 20% (23% with taxes a fees), without notice.
Sure wish I had competitive options in my area of Lubbock, but I don't.
