The K-State game is November 17th, and I am thinking about taking my 8 year old son (Zach) and making a boys road trip. It is one of the few Big 12 Stadiums I have not visited yet. So, obviously, never being in Manhattan, I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions on where to stay, maybe some cool places to hang out Friday night before the game, etc. Any sections of the stadium to avoid? (I am looking at 424, 425, 426)
I have been pricing hotels in Manhattan, and they seem pricey. How far is Junction City? Is that a good alternative?
Driving up from Parker County, so KC / Topeka are not exactly ideal.
