I'm grateful for how you turned around our basketball program. I appreciate that you conduct yourself with class. I loved how you would go to the Union and buy lunch for students. Watching your team play reminded me how much of a difference a good coach can make--the improvement was amazing. And finally, thank you so much for taking the Memphis job so that Chris Beard could take the reigns...I was upset at first, but now I think it may have been your greatest contribution to Texas Tech basketball. Thanks Tubby!
