HOOPS: Tech in contact with San Diego transfer guard

Can confirm that Texas Tech is in contact and has shown preliminary interest in San Diego transfer guard Deuce Turner.

Off the bench, Turner averaged 15.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 2023-24, winning WCC 6th man of the Year. Shot 37.4% from deep last season.

Turner has reportedly heard from Villanova, Arizona State, Seton Hall, Ole Miss and Cal among a plethora of mid-major schools since his entry.
