So I just watched the MR. Level just said out loud what I didn't want to say to myself. The question was something like "why is West Virginia's defense so good, and how do we get there"?
Level laid down the data that WVU has started something like 17 seniors against us, and it looks like that every year. So they are good now in large part due to experience and stability, so how do we get there? Then Level said it: If a guy like Brooks is what you need at every position, and he is a true freshman, how long before you have a quality upperclassman at most positions? The answer is 3-4 more years. You can't recruit juniors and seniors, you have to wait for them.
So my question to you: For you/Kliff/Kirby to support giving David Gibbs three to four more years, and see his first recruiting class become upperclassman, what would he have to show you from now until then?
