To show you the snakes we are dealing with at UT, spoke to someone in Austin and they do not believe Shaka suddenly left on his own. Apparently he was paid through alums to leave and Texas may have had some dirt on him. If you saw Shaka's press conference the other day there is some bad blood between him and UT. You ask why UT did not fire him directly and pay his buyout? Apparently there is concern about firing a black coach given the pollical climate at UT.
