We got a hold of Micah Peavy briefly regarding his official visit to Texas Tech last weekend. He is very busy with school and his upcoming visit to the University of Florida this weekend, so we appreciate him answering a few questions:
How was your official visit to Texas Tech?
"I had a really good time. I enjoyed hanging out with all of the players."
Would you say the environment at Texas Tech was family-friendly? We know this is an important part of your decision.
"When I stepped on campus, it felt like a family."
Could you see yourself attending and playing for Texas Tech?
"I'm looking for a school that is the best fit for me."
What was the culture of the program like from what you saw on your visit?
"It was a family atmosphere, everyone enjoyed being around each other."
When do you plan on announcing your college decision? Will it be closer to April?
"I will not sign until April. My commitment will most likely happen right after the new year."
