Yesterday, as Brandon posted on the site, McClung announced his top 7 and Texas Tech made the cut.
Make no mistake, the coaches really want him here and he has a spot should he want to commit to Tech.
McClung is a hyper athletic combo guard who averaged nearly 16 points per game this year at Georgetown.
There’s a thought that it’s possible if not likely that he’s able to get a waiver to play immediately. With Jamarius Burton sitting out, that’s a big key as Tech would likely only want one sit out guy.
McClung’s addition would be a huge boost to a Red Raider team that’s already projected in the preseason top 10 according to most experts. NBC Sports’ Rob Dauster recently had TTU at No. 7 on his list.
