Wife finally talked me into a pool for our backyard. Not asking for financial advice because I've spent A LOT of time on that already. However, for those that have built their own pool, I would appreciate any tips/surprises you came across during the design/installation/post-construction of your pool. Also, any contractors in the Houston area that you'd recommend would be appreciated.
