I am sorry if something like this has already been posted, I do not get on RRS on the weekends.
I haven't had the chance to go back and re watch the game, and I was a little tipsy during the game, so sorry if this is construed.
Doctson is one of the best in the country, and our secondary did solid, for what they are, against one of the best offenses in college football, but MAN did we miss Bethel. I know Doctson is awesome, but did anyone else feel like he made Banks look silly multiple times? More so than any of our other DBs (to be fair, the best corners in the country would have a hard time covering Doc).
I have re watched all of our other games and Banks hasn't really stood out to me in any of the other games. Have I just not been paying attention or did he get some playing time because of defensive schemes we were running against TCU? Would love to see our secondary start to really improve as we head into Big 12 play. I thought they did relatively well..... for some reason Banks just stood out to me.
Speaking of which, does anyone have an update on Bethel? Are we going to redshirt him this year?
