I’m a huge fan of the book series and as such I went in super skeptical. I knew going in it was going to be absolutely nothing like the books. I thought that would make me hate it but instead it removed all expectations. I actually ended up enjoying it. It’s a big, dumb, fun popcorn summer monster movie. Really ended up enjoying it.....for what it is.
