We're headed up to Crested Butte Christmas week but it's been about 12-13 years since I've skied and this will be the first ski trip for the family. My wife says she won't ski, which is fine, but 3 teenage boys are ready to plow.
So, several questions:
Last time I went, I went with a bunch of friends and we had a ski in/ski out that was pretty bad ass. I know we got discounted lift tickets at the store and skis/rental stuff we just got at the mountain. This time, it's different.
What's the best way to rent/reserve skis/boards/boots etc these days? I'm pretty sure I need to reserve on line (because that's the way it's done now, I think. Plus, we're going to be there during the busiest time of the year).
Best way to obtain discounted lift tickets?
Any thoughts/recommendations on how to do this? It's just been so long since I've skied, things have changed.
Really, any and all tips are appreciated--Crested Butte related.
TIA.
