Need some help from the RRS mind hive. I have a house with a small back house that I'm hoping to rent to a grad student for the upcoming semester. Anyone have an idea on the laws, etc., around this? Can I just do a handshake agreement? Do I need a lease? Obv. want to have one to protect me, and will get that all sorted out down the road, but have an interested party and just hoping to get them in there in the next week without too much fuss.
