I need to get my mind off the coaching debacle...let's talk smokers.
I've had a BGE for years and love it I'll never get rid of it. I had a pellet smoker for a couple years and it was okay but it just wasn't getting the job done. The thin metal made it really difficult to maintain temps while smoking in colder weather. I looked at Stump's gravity fed smokers but they're just way too expensive. I think I'd like to get a good ol fashioned stick burner. Something I can load up with multiple briskets and racks of ribs (which I can't do on the BGE obviously). Not in a big hurry I'm willing to wait until spring or summer so I could have one built. My BIL has an All Seasons (HEB carries them) and it's been really good I've cooked on it and I really like their design. I'm kind of leaning that way right now but open to suggestions.
