Obnoxious advertisement banner at bottom of screen

Anybody else see an obnoxious advertisement banner pop up at the bottom of the screen when going into a thread? This is on a laptop. No clue if it impacts mobile users.

Clicking the down arrow to minimize it each time is going to get really old really fast.
