La Russa: Mercedes 'clueless' for his 3-0 swing
Up 3-0 in the count late in a blowout win at Minnesota on Monday, Chicago designated hitter Yermin Mercedes hit a home run, much to the dismay of White Sox manager Tony La Russa, who felt it was uncalled for and something that "will not happen again."

I was on Tatis's side when he went grand slam, 3-0 late in the game against the Rangers. It's tough as hell to hit a home run even with bases loaded and a 3-0 count. This one is a little different since it was a field player pitching but I still don't blame the dude for absolutely crushing a 47 MPH floater. Okay with what La Russa said too though he could have saved some for behind close doors.
