Taking Mrs. RedRdr, 18 year old daughter and her best friend to Hawaii on Sunday. None of us have ever been, and as we typically do, we booked everything less than two weeks before we go.
Maui
Going there first and staying 6-7 days at Westin Nanea in Kaanapali.
Kauai
Headed there after Maui for likely 4 days. Staying in Princeville, likely at Westin
Suggestions, recommendations, things to avoid, etc would be greatly appreciated.

- Road to Hana - worth a whole day or not?
- Biking down Haleakala Volcano at sunrise - worth it to get up at 2am?
- Daughter and I will go diving a couple of mornings - we have a dive guide already lined up
- Other ideas? We are not into super fancy food, more hole in the wall places and finding things to do that aren't necessarily on every Top 10 List

- Helicopter tour - a must for us. Any ideas on specific company would be great
- Outside of that, don't really have anything on the agenda. We are viewing this part as more relaxing after an active week in Maui, but open to anything
Suggestions, recommendations, things to avoid, etc would be greatly appreciated.
