...for my Uncle. Just got word that he is doubtful to make a return home. He will go to nursing home with little hope of recovery from fluid on his lungs from pneumonia and just other general ailments. He is in his 90s and is part of the greatest generation. He hit the ground running and firing away during WWII and was almost blown up while running from German fire. He caught all kinds of shrapnel in his hip and he said the next thing he knew he was in a hospital. He wont talk about it much but his Purple Heart and other medals tell me a lot about him. Great man that has had a truly wonderful life. May he go to his final home easy and pain free.
