Two part thread: what I know, what I think.
Know:
Martin is healthy and could have pitched on Friday. Holiday hates it when teams do a pitcher by committee and Tadlock decided to use that rotation instead, to give Martin another week of rest, just to be sure.
Dusek is 100% healthy and just flat out not being used much right now; reasons unknown.
Reece Caldwell will not transfer after he dad stepped down from the staff - level 0 source.
Think:
Martin: coaches didn't want to rush him back, because a regular season title just isn't what they have their eye on. Would it be nice? Of course it would. But they have deeper thoughts for this year.
Dusek: I think we see him get his first start in the big 12 tournament where it doesn't not affect your season at all. Wouldn't surprise me to see a Martin, Gingery, Dusek starting rotation at The Law to open regionals.
