Just drove down 67/281 to Hamilton. Halfway point to my in laws. Dropping wife and kid off for spring break.
Anyway the deuce back for me thinking of my favorite drives in the state. I love the entirety of the 281 drive thru the small towns/marble falls to my in laws house. Both ways. But I think my favorite snippet is a drive might be on 67 when you’re heading East into Glen Rose. Just when you get past Chalk Mountain area, you’re coming down the hill and all you can see is green pastures, rocky hills, short brush, etc. plus the blue skyline. It’s like it goes on forever. It’s especially pretty this time of year as everything greens up.
