I hate what happened today and I am very frustrated by the mistakes and lack of discipline. But there is a lot of football left and things can change. A lot of teams look terrible the first game but improve as the year goes by and end up with a good season.
I think most of you would consider the season where we beat Minnesota in the Bowl game a good year. That year started out in Dallas against a very average SMU and we did win, but we looked terrible, missed a couple of extra points and couldn't do much on offense. But we got better.
I'm not a huge Kliff fan and that is not why I am posting. It wouldn't bother me at all to see someone else running the program, but right now he is our HC and I am going to support him and this team. Because there really isn't anything I can do. IMO, throwing an internet hissy fit and threatening to not support the team anymore isn't helping anything. It's your right to do it, but I don't see how that helps.
I'm betting that we do much better starting next week. That is the way I CHOOSE to look at it. But that's just me.
