It just hits different. By the end of the season, our players and coaches feel like family. Having to say goodbye to the players at the end of the season hurts more than the loss itself. Every time basketball season comes around, a spark is ignited in our fan base. The rowdiness, the competitiveness, the electric atmosphere, and the heart of our team is what I look forward to the most every year.
We have faced adversity over the years, and we have found a way to bounce back. I am so excited to be led by Coach McCasland, and I hope we never take his leadership and our phenomenal players for granted. We truly have something special in Lubbock,Texas.
