Its the hallmark of this team for sure, and I have seen enough. There is something to be said about player execution, with bad QB play, penalties and drops etc. But there is also something to be said for recruiting and coaching up players who can execute.
I’m not sure how the money or politics work out, and if Kliff is still roaming the sidelines next year I will watch. But what should happen is we should fire this head coach, as soon as possible, and see what kind of staff we can put together.
No I told you so’s or victory laps are appropriate, this was an experiment worth trying. Former QB legend and alum, Leach disciple, who would have stayed a long time. But I’m the end we swung, and missed...again. Kirby’s legacy won’t be defined by a young coach who if we are honest was forced down his throat. It will be defined by making this fire, and this hire.
