I think Kliff has been coaching scared and not to lose. He knows he is on the hot seat. When someone has their back against the wall they can coach scared and conservatively or they can coach like it’s their last game and have fun.
The players know the deal, they feed off the coach. If the coach comes in and is uptight and calls a game uptight, the players are going to play uptight. If a coach comes in and is loose, opens it up, and has a little fun, the team plays loose and has fun.
Long story short, the rest of the season I’d like to see Kliff coach every game like it’s his last game, open it up, and be loose instead of playing uptight and not to lose.
