OC/IR - Johns - looks like he can bring value to running game, use of TE and packages that this conference isn't ready for. Sounds like he can recruit and is intelligent.
Co-OC/RB - McGuire - Can recruit in Texas and can create a tough minded running game. Can aid in coaching IR and OL too.
OL - Brandon Jones - Solid OL coach, improved our line play. Closed on vital OL recruits.
OR - Emmett Jones - Solid recruiter in DFW area. Think he was solid at ORs.
DC - Gibbs - finally able to execute his vision with his players.
DL - Jamison - seems like a solid DL coach
LB - Spav - turned a major weakness into a major strength, pretty amazing, might be the best position group we've had in 18 years.
DBs - Jennings - very experienced DB coach, coached all over Texas, can recruit Texas.
Secondary - Dewhurst - young coach who is hungry, allows Gibbs to focus on D as a whole more and to mentor Brett.
ST is still unknown and given the quality so far, I expect this to be a solid hire.
S&C - Whitt. I think he's a solid one too.
Player Dev - Manny R - Former Pro OL out there too.
If we want to talk about recruiting this off season, how about the job Kliff did in recruiting this staff? I think he did a remarkable job.
One solid season this year and with this bunch that includes better recruiters, I think the tide has a chance to turn.
