Why not sell out and pump all available resources into the basketball program like the Kansas/Duke/Kentucky's of the world? I get that it's Texas and football is king, but imagine if Kansas basketball were in Texas? I'd imagine it takes way more all around to build a top 5 football program than it does a basketball program? I'm not even a huge basketball fan, football is definitely my primary sport but it'd be nice to start hanging natty banners on the wall regularly in something other than meat judging. Just a thought, it's Monday lunch hour, I've had a shit weekend and I'm spinning.
