We have two recruiting powers in UT and OU and then there is a dramatic drop to everyone else. Two regular top 10 and no one else in the top 25. We have had some good/great coaches who can take those 3 star laden top 40 classes and move up to top 30 with some 10 win seasons. Schools like TCU, Baylor, KState, OK State all have had great seasons and in some cases like OK State multiple recent great seasons but no one has been able to bust through.
I think there is one school in this league that can change that and that is us..and hopefully with this staff. I think there is great potential for us and if this staff starts winning you will see us get consistent top 20 or higher classes with some top 10 mixed in. We will not only beat those schools for valued top flight 3 star kids but also start pilfering our share of the 4 stars from out of state, aggie and others .
