I’ve always wondered this, but especially since the Wyo game. I definitely understand why hands to the face is a personal foul, 15 yarder. But is it at any time accidental? From my non expert impression, it just seems more avoidable at times. The KST game a couple of years ago when KST needed to convert a 4th and a mile, everyone was yelling ‘no personal fouls’ and sure enough our DLman seem fully committed on that foul. Again it’s my impression but I have to hope I’m wrong and wanted to hear from any formal OL/DL
