There seems to be lots of concern regarding Brandone Francis' play and the Corprew injury. A couple of weeks ago Moro and Mooney were drawing criticism about their play. And right now Culver isn't producing like a Top 10 NBA draft pick. Then there is a big contingent that want to see Khavon Moore in spite of the fact that Beard says he isn't ready yet.
Quite a bit of worry and complaints for a Top 10 team in the country that is 15-1, and the only undefeated team in the Big 12 in conference play (possibly the toughest conference in the country). This team hasn't come close to playing its best ball yet.
That's how Beard and Adams builds their program. They are still playing their way into understanding the system and the coordination/understanding/instinctive adjustments it demands. We will get better. We will also likely drop a game or two in conference play. But we are a national power right now. Be happy with that...enjoy watching them grow and improve...keep supporting them as we have so far. It's as good a time to be Red Raider basketball fan as we have seen in a long, long time.
