Anyone else excited to get this rolling? I feel like it has been a long time since there has been as much rumored action with top of the line superstars available, the red sox looking to trade everyone, the angels acting like they just found a billion dollars and a good mix of contenders, and could be contenders, willing to press the spend button.
I am also excited because, as a rangers fan, we get to another season and it looks like we are going to make a move.
On that note, some predictions:
-Unless the Angels get into trouble due to the Skaggs death, Gerrit Cole 100% signs with them for 8/280 mil.
-Rangers will sign Donaldson and Zack wheeler. Also a really good chance they take price or Eovaldi off the red sox's hands for cheap.
-Strasburg resigns with the nationals. Rendon signs with?? whoever will give him 40 mil a year (angels? dodgers?)
-astros somehow convince Madison Bumgardner to take a 1yr/12 mil deal to get help replace the loss of Cole. (probabaly not but the stros end up doing something like this all the time).
