Has there been any talk or consideration the last few years about expanding the college football season to 14 games?

President Yoon has struggled to get anything through Parliament. He's blamed the opposition, who he accuses of being soft on North Korea. So he declared martial law.

The South Korean President declared martial law to remove pro-North Korean elements. In an emergency address, he claimed martial law was necessary to protect SK's liberal democratic order from what he termed "pro-North Korean anti-state forces."

The last time South Korea was under martial law was in 1980, during the Chun Doo-hwan dictatorship.

Democratic Party lawmakers are gathering at the National Assembly right now. The police and the security forces are physically blocking the entrance.

Motion adopted. The Resolution demanding the end of Martial law has passed at the National Assembly.

Is 49 seats. And the ceiling is 63.

Democrats’ talk of axing the filibuster will disappear. You can bet on that.

We played well in every aspect of the game!! Offense stayed aggressive and went for the kill. Defense had a good plan and executed perfectly. Special teams had a couple of good returns and made all of our FGs.

We clearly need to extend everyone’s contract after this game. Joey, Kittley, DeRuyter, Kirby, Micah Hudson, Cody Campbell, Cornelius and his bike, all of ‘em. We’re not losing another game ever again.

I think the telegraphed offense we ran only had a couple of options on each play regardless of the defense. This made the defense lazy as they would know the play in scrimmages for the most part. That’s why we always saw the first couple games where we didn’t know what was coming and got burned. Through adjustment and having to actually think about what the offense is doing again.

The offense will also be better as they will be able to practice their new found freedom based off the defense.

I don’t think we will dominate every game next year. All I want for Christmas is more consistency in the offense and defense and we will be better for it.

With a tiny handful of votes to be counted and races to be certified, House Republicans have won a majority of the national 'popular' vote, outperforming Democrats by ~4.5 million ballots. For reference, 2010, R's won 242 seats (netting 63!) with 51.7% of the national vote. This year, they will barely have a majority, with roughly 50.7% of the total vote. Dem gerrymanders have worked. Not sure if that qualifies as a "threat to democracy," or if that term is reserved for things that upset liberals.

For nearly 4 years and even during the pandemic recovery, we saw Economist get lambasted by consistently over predicting jobless claims only for those number to come back positive. Those numbers were then further revised in future weeks showing even better than expected results. This was in stark contrast to the previous 8 years under Obama where figures were consistently revised downward a week or so later after data was originally published. Now we are seeing the same crap with another Dem in the Whitehouse.

"New weekly jobless claims unexpectedly rose by 13,000 to 861,000 in the week that ended February 13, the Department of Labor said Thursday.
Economists had expected claims to fall to 768,00 from the 793,000 initially reported for the prior week. The previous week’s figure was revised up by 55,000 to 848,000"

The revision to increase last weeks claims changes the narrative from positive to not so good.

Look for this shady deception to continue for the next few years. The elites will use smoke and mirrors to make recovery better than it appears only to go back and revise data later on when few folks pay attention.

Hey y’all, not one for really posting a bunch of personal stuff here but really needing some prayers right now. 6 years ago my wife was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer at the age of 24. We’ve been blessed with 6 cancer free years with a disease that has an average survival length of 18 months.

A month ago she had some concerning images pop up on her MRI so today I’m in the waiting room as she undergoes a brain biopsy to see if there is new tumor growth. If you’re the praying type please keep her in your prayers and if not just plain old thoughts are awesome as well. Thanks everybody.
