I haven’t been back to Lubbock since 2015 and am taking my 6 and 5 year old to the game while my wife stays home with the younger two.

Where should I take them to eat and see (we’re seeing prairie dog town Sunday)?

I don’t know anyone in the lbk anymore but am looking forward to showing them campus.

I wish we could start playing a game during the State Fair at the Cotton Bowl. I know they talked about it a few years ago with Oklahoma State. They are doing $150,000,000 of renovations to the stadium. What do you think?

Don’t know if any of you chuckleheads made it to ACL but got to see Blink 182 crush it Friday night! They sounded exactly the same as ‘95. Then bebopped over to see Chris Stapleton and he brought Willie Nelson up on stage for whiskey river! If you like music Friday night was great. The show stealer to me was Saint Lucia! Was incredible!

Spent the day celebrating @J. Ramirez and now am watching some good college football, enjoying a few @ALL HANDS.

How'd you spend your off Saturday?

In a battle of two of the best in the Big 12, Texas Tech looked like the better team but gave Colorado an opening late to finish a banger of a deep goal for the 1-1 draw. Soccer is both exhilarating and cruel in that way when one team can control a game for the majority of play but still find themselves without the win. In the end Texas Tech didn't let the frustration of that break them, learned a lesson or two, and fought to get an important point as they work towards playing their best soccer. Oh and they still find themselves atop the Big 12 standings with four games remaining - now tied with TCU with a 5-0-2 conference record.


Next up is Iowa State on Sunday in Lubbock at 1pm. Be there! Last chance to catch the team in Lubbock before they head on the road for their next two games thereafter. Wreck em.

This dude is going to win the Heisman. He may break Barry Sanders single-season rushing mark. How did he end up at Boise State and not at a major program? He’s from Texas. He already has 146 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on just 6 carries tonight. Coming into tonight, he had rushed for 845 yards on 82 carries, averaging 10.3 yards a touch. That’s only going to go up after tonight.

Today Navy (4-0, 3-0 American Conf) has a bye.

Army (5-0, 4-0 American Conf) is up 27-3 on Kitna's UAB dragons. Bryson Daily (Heisman?), has yet to throw a pass, leads the game with 100 yards rushing early 2nd Quarter.
