OT: Yellowstone Season 5.B

What did everyone think of the premiere of the continuation of the final season? TBH I lost pretty much all interest in the show after Costner effed it up but my wife told me it was back on and wanted to finish it just to see what they do. I think they should have just re-cast him and moved on. Now it all just seems forced into a corner they were backed into. My favorite parts of the show now are when they just spend time with Rip and the the daily life of the Cowboys. Don't really care about Beth or the silly story they have going on. I bet like most who have lived in WTX/Panhandle last night was a little maddening. The Cowboys rolling in to Dalhart and then they're at the 6666's? LOL and then Rip leaves the ranch to go run some errands in ....Pampa? LOL I guess the Pampa thing was to specifically highlight Mr. Klapper. Hell or Highwater had a lot of the same geographic magic travel.

RECRUITING: DE Cash Jacobsen recaps official visit to TTU pres. by Chocolate Milk

good morning everyone

I had a chance to speak with young Cash last night after his official visit to Texas Tech this past weekend

he recapped the official visit, his relationship with the coaches, plans to graduate early and his decision timeline

overall, sounds good for the Red Raiders...no other visits scheduled right now, but I did get the impression that other programs are looking to jump into the mix and Cash preferred not to provide any detail on said programs

OT: Thank you Live Oak Animal Hospital

My poor little buddy Mr Red tore a ligament in his knee & required surgery to repair it. They did a great job this week & Mr Red is slowly starting to walk on all four legs again.

He’s my best little buddy & I wouldn’t have survived the pandemic without him so I appreciate y’all taking good care of him @Taft33 ! Just wanted to give y’all some additional good word of mouth in case anyone on this board hasn’t used y’all’s services yet.

Baylor

Looks really good. I hate admitting it but Sawyer Robertson is an absolute stud. I think Aranda has the ship righted and I fear them more than TCU going forward.
Aranda is much better coach than Sonny and I think they were just too late to NIL/Portal era and have adapted.
I hate typing this and was really hoping they’d be back in the basement of the big 12

Even our wins feel bad

I have to hand it to the coaching staff, that's an accomplishment.

Glad we won but thoroughly unhappy with a lot of Kittley's decisions (big shocker there) in addition to McGuire's seeming lack of engagement on the sideline, the lack of discipline showed by the team at times, the STILL Les Miles-level clock management we engage in at times, unnecessarily playing prevent defense toward the end of the game....the list goes on.

I'm ok with losing or winning close games against inferior opponents as long as we play sound football and just get beat. This team under Wells and subsequently McGuire & Co. seems to have the most "beat yourself off " energy of any Tech teams I've ever watched.
