To get out of way quickly........don't need red light district recs 
Have a two days business meeting at end of March in Amsterdam and taking Mrs. Redrdr with me. We will stay for three extra days after the conference (five total in Amsterdam). The only thing confirmed is where we are staying (Hotel Okura). Would appreciate some recommendations as neither of us have ever been.
Also, we are going to come into Amsterdam five days before the conference. Thinking we will land in AMS and immediately jump a plane for somewhere else to spend four nights before coming back to conference. Have done all of UK and France so not there. Leaning towards Germany and even thinking we could just do trains spending a couple of nights in a couple of different towns before getting back to Amsterdam.
