But the rest of the team looked good. Those sides of the ball are continuing to improve. I’m really excited about those two phases.
I like the ST coach but idk about Bowman. I’d say they played the best game. The big return after halftime was unfortunate but the penalties on defense were back breaking. Without those calls, defense and special teams might have won the game.
Gibbs has been more aggressive since WV and it’s been fun to watch. Riko and Brooks are going to be monsters next year. Tech has allowed 5 rushing TDs so far this season in conference, good for 2nd. The defense has allowed 9 all season.
Tech had some nice pass break ups and did better than I expected against big WRs. Tech is currently tied 2nd in passing yards/attempt versus conference opponents but has faced the most attempts.
That was a hard way to lose a game, ouch. Turnover margin is hurting this team more than anything.
