OT AZ recommendation

Was suppose to run Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon in mid May but the park or north side trails will be closed. Already have flights, time off etc so looking for something else for the wife and I.

Other than Sedona which we have been many times, any suggestions or recommendations.
