With the way the game and its athletes are changing, has it influenced any of your opinions on whether or not you would let your kids play?

For me personally, if they just fell in love with it, I would let them play, but I think I will actively steer my unborn children away from football and towards other sports. I wouldn't have said the same five years ago. I have seen some nasty injuries in football but that happens in other sports as well. What concerns me now is all the head injuries and long term effects that are just now starting to really surface. Athletes now are too big, strong and fast for their own good. I can't even imagine what these guys are going to look like 20 years from now. And yes, the Ricardo Lockett hit from yesterday is what got me thinking about this. I legitimately thought I had just watched a person become paralyzed on live TV

Figured I would start a benign topic to get away from all the irrational OSU game reactions. Thoughts?
