Have any of you other DFW folks on here been to Wingfields burgers? I have lived in Dallas for over 10 years now and I've always heard good things, even crazy high praise about it over the years, but had never gotten around to checking it out until today, since I happened to be in the area during my lunch break.
Anyway, it was an extremely disappointing experience. The burgers were over priced especially for how good they were. I mean a burger and fries netted out to about $15 (I didn't even get any kind of drink). The fries were soggy, the burger was decent, but for that price and lower there are so many local places to get better burgers. Lastly, the service was terrible, and it took them over 30 minutes to make my meal. It wasn't busy when I got there and in fact several folks came in after me and left with their meal before I did. So, over priced, mediocre bad burger, and bad slow service. Doubt I'll be going back, but has this been anyone else's experience there?
