I’m happy for the kid. I’ve heard that Ivy League schools can’t offer full athletic scholarships, but I am interested to know what they can do for their recruited athletes. Anyone know how this process really works?

On a separate issue, Long was rated 5.6 and #73 in Texas out of top 75 when he committed to Tech last fall ( https://n.rivals.com/news/wilson-is-no-1-for-the-2020-class). Since then, his team finished the 2018 season as the state runner-up in its division, but he dropped to a 5.5 and entirely out of the state’s expanded top 150 (https://n.rivals.com/state_rankings/2020/texas). How often does a player’s ranking fall that far following their junior season?
