Serious question. What do elected Republicans gain from being so willfully stupid and ignorant? What do they gain from refusing to wear masks, ignoring science, and engaging in asinine conspiracy theories?
House members are getting sick because Republicans refused to wear masks. The Capital was overrun, and Mike Pence had a hit out on him, because Republicans wouldn't acknowledge an election.
