Now that I've got your attention with the clickbait title, I'm actually very curious about this. We seem to struggle with layups/point blank shots to a degree that would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating to watch. I don't see in other teams, literally I can't think of a game I've watched involving other teams this year where the players struggle as much as ours do to make "easy" shots. It was a problem last year, too.
Is there something causing this in our schemes, is it a player issue, or is it just confirmation bias creeping in?
Free throws are a major issue too that hasn't seemed to have gotten any better (other than MSS's improvement), but that's another story.
